What is EFT?
EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture but we don’t use needles. EFT relaxes the nervous system by gently tapping on meridian points.
How does it work?
The meridian points are connected to the amygdala, which is part of the brain responsible for memory, survival instincts and emotions.
EFT interrupts the signals and patterns that our past experiences have created within the brain. By gently tapping on the meridian points and talking about how we feel or by revisiting an event that was traumatic, we can calm our nervous system and in a sense reprogram our brain to react differently in the future.

Why choose EFT?
Even though EFT is a relatively new form of therapy, it is increasingly becoming popular because it a safe and natural way of healing and many people feel the results after the first session.
How many sessions will I need?
That completely depends on each individual and their issue. Anything between 1-10 sessions, 10 sessions are usually needed for issues that people have dealt with for a very long time (since childhood)
Once I’ve had a few sessions can I tap on my issues myself?
Absolutely! You can begin tapping on your own issues after the first session as I will usually do a recording for you on your phone so you can have access to a tapping sequence specific to your issue.

What is Matrix Reimprinting?
Matrix reimprinting is a technique that compliments EFT and allows you to identify when a particular negative limiting belief was formed and enables you to quickly rewrite it in a safe and gentle way.
Do you use EFT and meditation all in one session?
Usually yes. I will definitely use EFT and matrix reimprinting and because meditation and EFT compliment each other, I will most likely begin with a simple 5 minute meditation to help people relax and connect to themselves and the present moment.
What type of meditation do you teach?
Simple relaxation and mindfulness. If you attend the workshop we will cover some other types of meditation, such as sound, drawing and movement meditations.
Are you associated with any religion?
No. I am not affiliated with any religion.
What happens at a monthly Zen Group?
A group of people get together to connect, tap and meditate to let go of daily stresses. Group meditation is very powerful and like a domino effect, people’s relaxed calm energy transfers to others and others start to feel relaxed quicker than if they meditated on their own.
What happens at an EFT and Meditation workshop?
We use both modalities to let go of daily stresses of life and learn about recent research of both meditation and EFT. It is a very practical workshop and by the end of the day you should feel zenful and inspired to implement either or both EFT and meditation in to your life.
Can I organise my own group to attend a workshop?
Absolutely. A minimum number of 3 people is needed to run a workshop. Some people might even like to organise a day as Hens Day to feel relaxed before the big day.
